March 2011 – Hennepin County District Court – Second Degree Felony Drug Possession – The potential penalty was a minimum of five (5) years in prison. A search warrant was executed, drugs were recovered and the client admitted to possession. However, once on the case, Attorney Martin contested the evidence and proved that the State incorrectly charged the case. Subsequently, the State dismissed the Second Degree charge and amended it to Third Degree Drug Possession, thus saving the client three Years in prison.

December 2010 – Washington County District Court – Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree and 3rd Degree – There was a presumptive commit to prison for twelve (12) years in this case. The allegations involved a dangerous weapon. Attorney Martin successfully motioned the court to gain access to new evidence and in conjunction with his aggressive trial strategy, the State agreed to dismiss both Felony charges

November 2010 – Hennepin County District Court – Gross Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property – Potential penalty was 365 days in Jail and $3,000 Fine. After several months preparing for trial, we were able to set up a deal to avoid jail and the client was sentenced to a mere $50 fine

October 2010 – Isanti County District Court – Felony Insurance Fraud – Potential penalty was up to 20 Years in prison. Despite a previously recorded admission of the alleged charges, Attorney Martin was able to fight the charges and successful negotiate an offer where the client would serve less a month in the work house and only pay restitution

October 2010 – Goodhue County District Court – Arrested for Misdemeanor DWI – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. Attorney Martin vigorously attacked the arrest record. All charges were dismissed but Careless Driving was dismissed. Additionally, the client's driver's license remained valid with no record of revocation.

August 2010 – Ramsey County District Court – Misdemeanor DWI – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. Our client was sentenced to NO Jail and a reduced fine

August 2010 – Hennepin County District Court – Felony Robbery – Potential penalty was up to 10 Years in prison and a $20,000 Fine. On the eve of trial, the State Dismissed the Felony Robbery charge and our client entered a plea to a Misdemeanor Theft

June 2010 – Hennepin County District Court – Misdemeanor Theft – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. Attorney Martin was able to arrange an Agreement to Suspend Prosecution with conditional Dismissal, thus avoiding a conviction

Attorney Martin's investigation revealed several issues concerning the allegation of obstruction and he successfully negotiated a plea to a Misdemeanor Trespass. Our client was sentenced to NO Jail and only paid a $50 fine

June 2010 – Hennepin County District Court – Misdemeanor DWI – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. Our client was sentenced to No Jail and a minimal fine

May 2010 – Washington County District Court – Misdemeanor DWI – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. Our Client was sentenced to NO Jail and a low fine

May 2010 – Washington County District Court – Misdemeanor DUI / Controlled Substance – Potential penalty was 90 days in Jail and $1,000 Fine. After contesting the arrest and revocation of driving privileges, we accepted a plea to Careless Driving and the DWI charge was dismissed with NO Jail. Additionally, the client's Driver's License was reinstated with NO revocation or Alcohol revocation recorded.
